EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person is dead in an early morning crash on Wednesday, Jan. 1 in far East El Paso, El Paso Fire dispatch and El Paso Police said.
The crash happened just before 4 a.m. at Joe Battle and Vista Del Sol. Police say their Special Traffic Investigations Unit is on the scene, looking into the cause.
Fire dispatch said the crash may not involved a single vehicle but they did not have any definitive information on how many vehicles were involved. They also told KTSM earlier that the crash involved a person being ejected from a vehicle.
