EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A semitruck driver had to be airlifted after his vehicle rolled over on Sunday evening, Aug. 3 along New Mexico Highway 9, Sunland Park Fire said.
Sunland Park Fire and Doña Ana County Fire Rescue were called out to the rollover at about 5:15 p.m. Sunday. The crash happened at Mile Marker 130 on Highway 9, which travels between Santa Teresa and Columbus, New Mexico.
The man was pinned in the truck and needed to be extricated, Sunland Park Fire said.
The man was then airlifted to a local hospital. His condition was not known.
DAFR provided the patient care. Sunland Park Fire set up the landing zone for the helicopter.
