EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A person fell, injured their ankle and needed to be rescued at Hueco Tanks State Historic Site on Sunday, May 26, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said.
County Search and Rescue responded to the park at about 2 p.m. about a report of an injured person who fell and injured their ankle. No major injuries were reported.
The rescue operation was completed at about 5:45 p.m.
