EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A person was pulled from the Rio Grande on Sunday evening, June 15 in El Paso’s Lower Valley and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, an El Paso Fire spokesperson said.
The incident happened a little after 6 p.m. Sunday along the river between Fonseca and Yarbrough along the Border Highway, the spokesperson said.
The patient was transported Code 3 (serious injuries), the Fire spokesperson said.
