EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person was seriously injured in a crash Friday evening, April 18 in El Paso’s Lower Valley, El Paso Police said.
The crash involved one vehicle and happened at Loop 375 South and Americas.
One person was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, police said.
A Fire Department spokesperson added that person was transported with life-threatening injuries (Level 1 trauma).
One other person was transported Code 1 (non-life-threatening), according to the Fire Department.
The crash happened at 6:30 p.m., the Fire spokesperson added.
The Special Traffic Investigations Unit has responded and is looking into what led up to the crash.
All southbound lanes along Loop 375 are closed because of the crash, the Texas Department of Transportation said. Minor backup is being reported. Clearing time is until further notice.
