EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash Sunday afternoon, Aug. 3 in East El Paso, a El Paso Fire spokesperson said.
The crash happened at about 2:15 p.m. along Gateway West at Viscount and involved a single motorcycle, the spokesperson said.
One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, the spokesperson said.
Police said they have sent out their Special Traffic Investigations Unit to the crash. STI investigates crashes involving serious injuries or fatalities.
Gateway West and Interstate 10 West are closed at McRae because of the crash, the Texas Department of Transportation said. Clearing time is estimated until further notice.
