EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person was seriously hurt in a single-vehicle crash in Central El Paso on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 4, El Paso Fire dispatch said.
The single-vehicle crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. along Gateway East at Paisano, fire dispatch said.
One person was ejected from their vehicle and was transported to the hospital with serious injuries (Code 3), dispatch said.
Police confirmed that their Special Traffic Investigations Unit was on the scene of the crash. Police said the crash involved serious injuries but did not offer any other details.
Gateway East is closed after Raynolds because of the crash, TxDOT said. TxDOT reports minor backup and that clearing time is estimated at about an hour.
