EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person was transported by air with serious injuries after two semitrucks crashed Monday morning, Oct. 14 in Hudspeth County, the Texas Department of Transportation said.
The crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. along Interstate 10 West at Mile Marker 128. That is about 20 miles east of Sierra Blanca.
One semitruck rear-ended another, and one of the drivers needed to be airlifted for treatment of injuries, a DPS spokesperson said.
I-10 West was closed at the crash site until about 1 p.m.
