On this Memorial Day, we came very, very close to our first 100-degree day. The official high was 99 thanks to the moderately gusty winds. I believe tomorrow will be the official first 100.

TONIGHT: The skies will be clear, and the winds will be moderately gusty early evening. The SW winds will range from 10-30 mph with the strongest gusts on the east slopes. Slowly the winds will die down through the night, and the low will drop to 68.
FORECAST: Tuesday will be sunny, windy, and hot with a high of 100. The SW winds will pick up in the afternoon and gust to 30 mph with the strongest gusts on the east slopes of the mountains (no dust). Wednesday will be sunny and 99 with hot breezes to near 20 mph. Thursday will be windy with a high of 97. The NW-west winds will gust to near 35 mph (no dust). Friday will be mostly sunny with just a few clouds and light winds. Friday’s high: 99. Saturday will be sunny and windy with a high of 101.
