EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two children were hurt in a jumping balloon accident Saturday afternoon, March 15 in Las Cruces, a spokesman for the Las Cruces Police Department said.
The incident happened at about 3:40 p.m. Saturday along the 4500 block of Red Mountain Circle. A 3-year-old and a 10-year-old were injured, the police spokesman said.
The police spokesman said he did not know how badly hurt the kids were or what condition they are in.
No charges are pending because it is considered an accident, he said.
“We urge parents to use caution when having kids on bouncing balloons during windy conditions,” he said.
