EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Two teens were taken into custody on Wednesday, May 28, after reports of two juveniles with a weapon were made at Bassett Place, El Paso Police Department (EPPD) said.
EPPD said that shortly after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to Bassett Place on reports of two juveniles with a weapon.
When officers arrived, they located a girl and a boy, both 14 years old, matching the description, EPPD said.
EPPD said they were taken into custody and will be processed at the Juvenile Probation Department for evading arrest or detention, resisting arrest, and false alarm or report.
In addition, no injuries were reported.
