EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Twenty police recruits graduated from the 136th El Paso Police Department Academy on Friday, Jan. 24.
The graduation ceremony took place at 9 a.m. on Jan. 24 at the Starlight Center, located at 6650 Continental Dr.
The recruits were in the academy for 8 1/2 months. Next, they will be going to patrol among the City’s different regional command centers, according to a spokesperson for the Police Department.
The 137th academy started in September and the next academy, the 138th, will begin on Monday, Jan. 27.
