EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 20-year-old El Paso man has been arrested in a murder dating back to 2022, El Paso Police said.
Police said they have arrested 20-year-old Kenneth Seind Gaucin in the murder of Juan Francisco Grajeda, 49, which happened in June 2022.
Police said investigators identified Gaucin as the suspect in the murder. He was arrested on an unrelated charge in June 2024, police said. He was rebooked on March 7 and charged with murder under a $500,000 bond.
Police said that on June 20, 2022, they investigated what they called a homicide involving a man found dead inside Central El Paso apartment along the 1200 block of North Laurel.
Officers identified the victim as Grajeda and suspected foul play.
At the time, police released few details, saying that disclosure would compromise their investigation. They did ask for the public’s help in finding the suspect through Crime Stoppers at the time.
