EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) – Authorities in Juarez, Mexico, say they have found three bodies inside a house linked to a funeral home operator jailed earlier this month.
Police responding to a 911 call from neighbors of the Arroyo de las Viboras neighborhood in west Juarez on Thursday recovered the bodies of an adult and two children from inside an apparently abandoned SUV parked in a house at the corner of Samaniego and Laton streets.

Authorities told Border Report news partner ProVideo investigators are linking the home to Miguel Angel A.O., operator of Funeraria del Carmen mortuary, which is one of five funeral homes suspected of doing business with a crematorium where Mexican authorities found 383 embalmed cadavers lying on top of each other in June.
The find prompted an investigation of the funeral home industry in that Mexican border city, which resulted in the arrest of A.O. for illicit disposal of cadavers.
Mexican health authorities had suspended Funeraria del Carmen’s permit last October, yet they found one embalmed body at the business. That led to A.O.’s arrest.
A judge on July 18 ordered A.O. to remain in jail pending trial.

Chihuahua state police officers reportedly found the bodies inside a single coffin in the back of the SUV.
Authorities don’t know how long the bodies had been there. Photos released by the Chihuahua Attorney General’s Office show the SUV parked next to another vehicle covered in dust, suggesting it hasn’t been moved in a long time.
