EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The four defendants in the Young Park shooting case in Las Cruces will be charged as adults, according to a decision announced in a court appearance on Monday, April 7.
Tomas Rivas, 20, Nathan Rivas, 17, Gustavo Puga Dominguez, 17, and Josiah Ontiveros, 15, have been formally indicted on charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They will face those charges as adults.
They all pleaded not guilty in court Monday.
As we previously reported, three people were killed, and 15 others were hurt in the shooting that happened on Friday, March 21, in Las Cruces.
The shooting happened during an unauthorized car show when two groups of people got into an altercation and that fight escalated, Las Cruces Police said.
