UPDATE: Westbound lanes on Paisano at Spur 1966 remain closed; left eastbound lane is now open, TxDOT said.
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Four people were injured in possible wrong-way crash along Paisano Drive near UTEP on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 22, El Paso Fire dispatch said.
The crash, involving two vehicles, happened at about 2:15 p.m. at Paisano West near Spur 1966. One car was possibly going the wrong way, dispatch said.
Four people were transported to hospitals with injuries, including two with serious injuries, dispatch said.
The Texas Department of Transportation said that all westbound lanes on Paisano are closed at Spur 1966 and one eastbound lane is closed. Clearing time is until further notice.
