EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Six people were injured after a mass casualty incident Thursday morning, May 8, on I-10 at Transmountain after a semi-truck crashed into multiple vehicles and caught fire, according to the El Paso Fire Department.
The Fire Department says the call came in just after 6 a.m. Thursday, May 8, on I-10 at Transmountain.
El Paso Police confirmed that six people were transported to a local hospital. They did not specify the severity of their injuries.
Units are currently arriving at the scene, and Transmountain is closed in both directions from Talbot to N Desert.
