KTSM News – 72-year-old motorcyclist dies in far East El Paso crash

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 72-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash last Thursday, Oct. 23, in far East El Paso, according to El Paso Police.


Crash involving vehicle, motorcycle seriously hurts one person in far East El Paso

Police say they responded just after 3 p.m. that Thursday to the 3700 block of John Hayes St. in reference to a single motorcycle crash.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Richard Max Randolph, 72, was traveling north near the 3700 block of John Hayes St., where the road starts to curve.

For unknown reasons, Randolph lost control and crashed. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

On Tuesday, Oct. 28, Special Traffic Investigators were informed that Randolph was pronounced dead.

Investigators are asking the public if they have information regarding this crash to contact police at 915-832-4400 or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-TIPS (8477).

This is the 54th traffic fatality compared to 57 at the same time last year.
