What a magnificently beautiful, outstandingly gorgeous, unimaginably splendid day!! Light winds, mostly sunny skies… one might say “perfection achieved.” I hope you enjoyed this perfect Friday because major changes are coming for the next four days. I took this picture of my purple plum tree. I wanted to snap the picture BEFORE the powerful winds hit on Sunday.
TONIGHT: The skies will be mostly clear with just a few clouds, and the winds will be light and variable at 5-10 mph. The low will drop to 50.
FORECAST: Saturday will start out beautiful with light winds but will end up with warm, gusty winds and partly cloudy skies. With a high of 85, the SW winds will pick up by afternoon and gust to near 40 mph. We could see a slight dusty haze by late Saturday afternoon, and the strongest gusts will be on the east slopes of the mountains. Sunday will be a terrible weather day with powerful winds, blowing dust, and a few passing drops. The high will be 66*, but that could happen in the morning as temperatures drop with a cold front. Monday will be partly to mostly cloudy with a few rain showers and chilly winds. Monday’s high: 59. Tuesday will be partly to mostly cloudy with gusty winds and a high of 60. Wednesday will be sunny and 72 with fairly light winds. The gusty winds return on Thursday with a high of 82.
