EL PASO, Texas (KSTM) — Happy Sunday, El Paso! Get ready for some overnight sub-freezing temperatures for the majority of the next nine days.
Tonight’s low will be in the upper 20s, lower 30s. Monday will serve as a buffer, temperatures slightly warmer than today, producing a high in the low 50s. Calm, cool breezes are expected along with plenty of sunshine. Lows will drop to the mid 20s as a second cold front ushers in much cooler air. Tuesday’s high will be near 40 with cold winds. Gusts can get up to 25 mph in some areas during the afternoon before settling overnight. Although we are seeing much cooler conditions, the region remains dry – leaving little to zero chance for precipitation during this cold period. Wednesday’s high will be near 48, with a low near 28. Thursday through Friday, temperatures will gradually warm up to the mid 50s and still remain below average until Saturday. Highs in the low 60s are the trend for the weekend with mostly sunny skies. Lows will be in the 30s.
