KTSM News – 9-Day Forecast: Cooler temperatures on menu for Thanksgiving

Posted on November 25, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Warmer-than-normal temperatures kicked off the workweek. With a high near 75 degrees, El Paso is about 10 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year. We’ll see an overnight low around 48 degrees before warming up to 75 degrees for Wednesday.

Along with increased cloud cover, gusty winds will accompany the warm temperatures. Winds from the southwest will blow between 10-20 mph in the afternoon, gusting as high as 40 mph. A low near 46 is expected as a cold front moves in for Thanksgiving.

Your Thanksgiving will be mostly sunny and calm. The air will feel cooler with a high near 63 paired with light breezes. The low will drop to 42 degrees.

Mostly cloudy skies are expected for Friday along with a high near 62. Conditions will remain quiet throughout the weekend as we stay in the mid- to low 60s range through the remainder of the nine days. Lows will remain in the lower 40s range.
