KTSM News – 9 Day Forecast: Gusts blow in cooler air

Posted on December 17, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Tuesday, El Paso. Cooler temperatures are in store along with winds from the north that will bring our region closer to normal seasonal conditions.

The high for Wednesday will be near 63 with a low around 38. While the sun will be shining for most of the day, we will see winds ranging from 10-20 mph, gusts as high as 30 mph. Those winds will begin to calm down as the sun sets.

That cold front will not have a lasting effect. Temperatures Thursday onwards will gradually begin to increase ranging in the mid to upper 60s through next week. The lows will be in the lower 40s. Except for a few breezy days, conditions will be mostly sunny and quiet.

If you’re planning on traveling out of El Paso or have loved ones coming in, conditions will be ideal for the skies and roads here in the Sun City. Little to no precipitation chances are present. Come Christmas day, next Wednesday, we can expect to see a high near 70 and a low in the 40s.
