KTSM News – 9-Day Forecast: Mostly sunny skies on the menu for Thanksgiving

Posted on November 27, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — From a windy, cloudy Wednesday to mostly clear skies Thursday. Your Thanksgiving forecast is cooking up to be an ideal one with a high near 63 degrees and quiet weather conditions from sunrise to sunset.

If you’re heading out the door to save your spot on the parade route or warming up for the YMCA Turkey Trot, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s. Winds will be light, and layers are recommended. Thursday’s low will be near 44.

With a cold front over our region, Friday will be fairly cool with plenty of overcast. A high near 62 is expected with a low near 40. Those clouds stick around through the weekend as we begin to gradually warm up. El Paso will welcome Dec. 1 with dry weather conditions and a high near 70.

The workweek will be mostly sunny with highs above average. We’ll see highs ranging from 65 to 70 through Friday, with lows in the mid-40s.

Good luck to all the turkey trotters running in Thursday’s race and a happy Thanksgiving morning to all the Borderland residents!
