EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — After days of back-to-back strong winds and blowing dust, the El Paso area will finally see a much-deserved calm Easter Sunday.
With much lighter winds coming in at 5-10 mph and a warmer high near 75, Sunday will be the epitome of a spring day. The following seven days will be warm and dry with light to moderate winds, a stark contrast to what much of the Borderland region saw this previous week.
For Monday, a high near 86 and low around 56 are expected. Breezy conditions paired with mostly sunny skies will be the prevailing conditions.
Tuesday: Light winds, a high near 89 with a low around 57.
Wednesday and Thursday: Highs near 87 with lows around 58. Winds will range from light to moderate through the afternoon hours.
Friday: Mostly sunny skies with a high around 88 and low near 61.
