EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Sunday, El Paso! Warm temperatures and windy conditions will launch us into the Christmas week.
A high near 70 is expected for Monday along with light winds ranging from 5-10 mph. The day will begin cloudy but gradually become sunny. We’ll see a low around 37.
Your Tuesday will feature mostly sunny skies, a high around 68 and low near 40. Overnight, mostly clear skies are expected – great conditions for tracking Santa or looking at Christmas lights.
Come Christmas Day, similar temperatures are expected but winds will gain strength in the afternoon. Winds will range from 15-20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Strong gusts will persist throughout the evening as a cold front blows into the area. A low around 37 is expected.
Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny with high temperatures in the low 60s and lows in the 30s. Saturday will be even cooler; a high near 61 is expected with a low near 40.
Sunday onward, we will begin to gradually warm up, reaching the upper 60s for our high temperatures and lower 40s for our lows.
