KTSM News – 9 Day Forecast: Warmer days in store for El Paso area

Posted on April 5, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Saturday, El Paso. It was a wet and cold spring day with precipitation continuing throughout most of our Saturday. While the showers were much appreciated, anticipate conditions calming down as soon as Sunday as we are expecting mostly sunny skies.

The final remnants of this storm system will be gone by Sunday morning. A freeze warning is in effect as lows are expected to be near 28 Saturday night going into the morning hours. We’ll see temperatures rise to near 60 with light breezes from the southwest at 0-5 mph. Overnight lows will not be as cold, in the upper 30s to lower 40s going into Monday.

Monday’s high will be near 73 with a low near 44. The rest of the forecast period will be much warmer with above-average high temperatures in the 80s and lows increasing from the upper 40s to lower 60s and breezy conditions in the afternoons. Plenty of sunshine will be present throughout the week with the warmest days looking like next weekend as we see the chances for highs to be above 90.
