KTSM News – About 6.5K customers without power because of wind

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Electric is reporting that about 6,500 customers are without power in 25 separate outages on Sunday, March 24.

El Paso Electric says the outages are caused by the wind.

Crews are working to restore power to customers as quickly as possible, but there is no estimated time for service to be restored, a spokesman told KTSM.
