EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — ACTion Programs for Animals (APA) in Las Cruces is hosting its annual Home for the Holidays Adoption Special.
During this campaign, all adoptions are half-off. The promotion began Saturday, Dec. 7 and runs through Saturday, Jan. 4.
“The holiday season is a great time to bring home a new furry family member, because people have more time at home before getting back to work after the new year,” APA’s Executive Director Michel Meunier said. “We also offer a sleepover program so people can take an animal home for a week or two before making their final adoption decision.”
APA has many cats, kittens and trained dogs from its P.A.W.S. (Prisoners and Animals Working Toward Success) program available for adoption, and all are half-off to adopt during the Home for the Holidays Adoption Special.
You can meet the adoptable animals from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at the APA Adoption Center, located at 537 N. Solano Dr. Appointments may also be made by calling (575) 571-4654 or emailing mail@apalascruces.org. The adoption center will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 1.
