KTSM News – Aquatic center in Las Cruces to close for annual maintenance

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center will close its pools later this month for annual maintenance and inspection.

The center, at 1401 E. Hadley Ave., will close its pools to the public from Sunday, Nov. 16 through Sunday, Nov. 23.

All aquatic fitness classes will be canceled during that time as well. Public showers also will be unavailable.

Regular pool operations and aquatic programming will resume Monday, Nov. 24.

While the Regional Aquatic Center pools are closed, the Las Cruces Natatorium, 1405 E. Hadley Ave., will be open for extended hours: 

  • Monday through Friday: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 
  • Closed Sunday 

The Fitness Center on the second floor of the Regional Aquatic Center will remain open Monday, Nov. 17, through Wednesday, Nov. 19, during regular hours of operation and programming. The Fitness Center will be closed Thursday, Nov. 20, and Friday, Nov. 21, and will reopen Saturday, Nov. 22, for normal hours and programming.
