EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A beautiful moment: Army Sgt. 1st Class Robert Sanchez surprised his son, Xavier Ramirez, a safety on the Pebble Hills High School football team, with a reunion before Friday’s game.
The heartwarming reunion took place before the Pebble Hills vs. Montwood football game that started at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, at the SAC II.
KTSM crews captured the moment when Sanchez was reunited with his son, as shown below.
Sanchez has been on a nine-month rotation with the United States European Command in Germany, according to the Socorro Independent School District.
