EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Roadways in the Deming area are closed due to high winds and no visibility on Thursday, March 13, the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) said.
Roadways closed include the following, according to NMDOT:
- NM 549 is closed from milepost 0 (Deming) to milepost 31.
- NM 11 is closed from milepost 4 (Columbus) to milepost 26 (Sunshine Rd).
The department said it’s monitoring the roadway and nearby areas.
