EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Sunland Park Fire Department assisted in recovering a body from the desert on Sunday, May 26.
According to Sunland Park Fire’s X social media account, the body was found by Border Patrol about a mile northwest of Memorial Pines Lane and Tierra Madre Court.
The fire department assisted the Office of Medical Investigator with the recovery of the body.
The initial call came in minutes before 6 p.m. on Sunday.
