KTSM News – Borderland schools say students with revoked visas now reinstated

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Universities and colleges in the El Paso and Las Cruces area say that international students who had received word that their visas were being revoked by the federal government have now been reinstated.

UTEP, New Mexico State University and El Paso Community College said all students who were impacted have now been reinstated.

The University of Texas at El Paso said all 11 students who had the visas revoked have now been reinstated.

New Mexico State University said that all nine international students they had been tracking with revoked visas have also been reinstated.

El Paso Community College said they had two students who fell into this category and both have been reinstated as well.
