EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Las Cruces Police Department will discuss its community advocate program during the next Bridging the Badge livestream.

Bridging the Badge will stream live on the City’s YouTube channel and on LCPD’s Facebook page beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12.

Community advocates assist officers and help host several regular and seasonal events such as the MOC on the Block, Lunchtime Lemonade, Ident-A-Child and National Night Out.

Bridging the Badge livestreams are intended to promote understanding, collaboration, and informed dialogue on topics important to residents of Las Cruces, the Las Cruces Police Department said.
