EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso and the El Paso Water Parks are inviting the community to Camp Cohen’s Spooky Fest & Trunk ‘R Treat Halloween event.
The free event will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Camp Cohen’s parking lot located at 9700 Gateway Blvd N.
According to a news release by Destination El Paso, Spooky Fest & Trunk ‘R Treat is a safe and fun family-friendly event that includes trick-or-treating from various local vendors, a farmers market, live entertainment, a petting zoo, games and Halloween-themed contests.
Vendors are encouraged to decorate their cars/stands in Halloween themes for a chance to win first, second and third place awards for best Halloween trunk display, according to Destination El Paso.
There is a $25 participation fee for vendors that want to participate in the event and vendors are also asked to provide their own candy for distribution, according to Destination El Paso.
