EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Saturday and Día de los Muertos to those who celebrate. We saw another calm, warm day on Saturday, Nov. 2 but conditions will change come Sunday.
Overnight, moisture from the east will create the potential for thunderstorms in Otero and Hudspeth counties. This system will bring strong winds with gusts in the 30-40 mph range through the afternoon. Scattered shower chances grow in the evening and will carry over to Monday morning. We’ll see a high near 69 with a low around 48.
For Monday, shower chances are highest just before noon. The high will be much cooler at 63 degrees with a low around 42. We can expect cloudy skies to stick around for the rest of the day along with mild winds.
Election Day, Tuesday, will feature sunny skies and a high near 66, with a low in the lower 40s.
Wednesday and Thursday prove to be similar, if not slightly warmer. Calm, quiet conditions with normal temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s are expected with lows in the 40s.
Friday onwards we’ll see mostly sunny skies and more fall-like conditions with highs in the 60-70s range and lows in the higher 30s to lower 40s.
