EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso and Fort Bliss are scheduled to sign a partnership agreement to help soldiers transitioning to civilian life apply for City Jobs.
The signing is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 at City Hall. Mayor Oscar Leeser and Fort Bliss Garrison Commander Col. Brendan Gallagher are scheduled to sign the agreement, according to a news release sent out by the City.

The partnership is part of the U.S. Army’s Partnership for Your Success (PAYS) Program, which is a “strategic partnership giving transitioning soldiers an opportunity for employment with the City of El Paso after their service in the U.S. Army,” according to the news release.
With this proclamation, the U.S. Army Reserve will share the City of El Paso job employment opportunities throughout the nation with soldiers transitioning and looking for employment in El Paso, according to the news release.
