EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso is celebrating “Small Business Week” by supporting El Paso companies.
“National Small Business Week” takes place on the first week of May and recognizes the contribution that small business owners have in their communities, according to a news release from the City of El Paso.
The City’s Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) program is used to help local business owners retain and grow their businesses with locally-driven strategies. BOSS has partnered with 22 entrepreneurial organizations, according to the City.
“Our commitment to local small businesses is integral to our broader economic strategy. We understand that small businesses are the backbone of our economy. That’s why we provide targeted support and resources to help them thrive,” said Interim Director of the City of El Paso Economic and International Development Department Karina Brasgalla.
