Posted on March 10, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The City of El Paso Public Libraries and Parks and Recreation Department are seeking booth exhibitors, volunteers and parade participants for the 28th annual “Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros” event, the City of El Paso announced in a press release.

The free family-friendly event will take place Saturday, April 27 at Washington Park.

This year, the event will include a walking parade leading to Washington Park. The Public Libraries encourages community organizations, schools, musical groups and others to participate in the parade, according to the City.

The City says volunteers are needed as well as community organizations to host activity booths at the event.

Registration and information to be part of the parade, become a volunteer or take part as an exhibitor for the event, is available by calling (915) 212-3217 or visiting www.ElPasoLibrary.org.
