EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Friday, El Paso! The region is looking at warmer-than-average temperatures heading into the weekend, but a cold front will drop the area into the mid-60s come Sunday.
For Friday night, expect a calm evening with light winds and mostly clear skies. The low will be near 54.
Saturday is another mostly beautiful, warm day with a high of near 80 and calm winds through the afternoon. Come the evening though, those winds and gusts will pick up blowing around 10-15 mph with gusts around 20-25 mph.
Early Sunday morning, the cold front will make itself known between midnight and 8 a.m. The high will be around 65 and cold winds will be blowing. The overnight low will be around 39, making for a very cold Monday morning.
Monday will be mostly sunny, breezy at times, and the high will be around 67. The low will not be as chilly with temperatures around 47.
Starting Tuesday through the end of the week, high temperatures steadily increase into the weekend from the low 70s to upper 70s. The conditions will be mostly sunny with calm winds and lows will mostly range from the upper 40s to low 50s.
