Oh, gosh golly! We are 4 days to Halloween. It’s one of my favorite days of the year because my mother always made me an elaborate costume for the school costume contest. For example, as a first grader, I was a hot air balloon. I’m not kidding. So in keeping with my mother’s talents, I have dressed my family up every year since 2009. The secret: MAKE your own costumes. It’s fun, and it saves money. I will reveal the 2025 Bettes Family Costumes this Wednesday.

TONIGHT: The skies will be clear, and the winds will be light. The west breeze will range from 5 to 10 mph; and the low will drop to 57 at the airport, 52 in the valley.
FORECAST: Tuesday will be sunny and 80, slightly cooler as the winds shift NE-east at 5-20 mph. By late evening, the winds will become a bit gusty on the west slopes of the mountains as a cold front begins to push through. Wednesday will usher in a noticeable cold front. The north-NE winds will range from 10-35 mph, especially in the morning. The high will only be 67, so the winds will feel pretty chilly at times. The skies will be sunny. Thursday will start out clear and quite cold with a low of 39. Thursday afternoon will be sunny with light winds and a high of 73. Friday is Halloween and shall be a fairly warm day with a high of 81. Enjoy mostly sunny skies with west winds that will pick up and gust near 30 mph, strongest on the east slopes. Saturday will be sunny and warm with a high of 84.
