KTSM News – Community foundation makes holidays brighter with Sprit of Giving campaign

Posted on December 1, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — You can help make someone’s holiday season a little brighter through the El Paso Community Foundation’s 36th annual Spirit of Giving campaign.

A virtual tree is online and live. Physical trees went up at Cielo Vista Mall and the Shoppes at Solana this past week, organizers said.

You can spread joy by sponsoring a gift from the campaign’s virtual tree by clicking here. Click a tag, pay for the item and the El Paso Community Foundation will ensure it is delivered.

You can also choose a tag from the trees at the two supporting malls.

You can ensure that children, older adults and people with special needs will get a gift. Each tag represents someone who might not get a gift otherwise, according to the campaign.

You can also drop off gifts from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 9-12 at the El Paso Community Foundation’s Spirit of Giving space at the Shoppes at Solana, on the second floor next to Monkey Rock. Dropped-off gifts should not be wrapped but can be placed in a gift bag.

You can call (915) 533-4020 or visit SpiritofGiving.epcf.org for more information.
