KTSM News – ComSAR rescues injured hiker in Franklin Mountains

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Fire Department’s Combined Search and Rescue Team rescued a hiker at Franklin Mountains State Park on Saturday afternoon, July 20, the department said on its X account.

ComSAR responded to the 1000 Steps Trail. One person was assisted down the mountain. That person was transported for medical care with what were called minor injuries (Code 1), according to the Fire Department.
