EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Teaching the younger generation the importance of politics.
U.S. Representative Veronica Escobar met with Socorro High School seniors on Wednesday morning, April 3, according to Socorro Independent School District (SISD).
According to SISD, the seniors are a part of Socorro’s student government and National Honor Society.
Congresswoman Escobar shared her personal experience on how she got involved in government and politics and how the younger generation could be active as well, according SISD.
At the end, the seniors were allowed to ask Congresswoman Escobar some questions.
