Perfection achieved!! That’s today. The high was 69. Yes, that’s 8 degrees above normal, but with the sunshine and light winds, it certainly was nice. The record on this day is 80 set in 1973.
Estela just returned from India and Nepal. As you can see from Estela’s jacket, it’s cooler in parts of India than it is in El Paso lately.
TONIGHT: The skies will be mostly clear, and the winds will be light out of the E at 5-10 mph. The low will drop to 43 at the airport, 38 in the valley.
FORECAST: Tuesday will turn partly to mostly cloudy and will feel a little cooler. With a high of 63, the east-SE winds will range from 5-20 mph. Wednesday will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny with warmer breezes and a high of 67. The winds shift west-NW at 5-20 mph. On Thursday, a low-pressure system begins to move over the Borderland. We’ll turn cloudy with a few drops here and there as well as a slight chance of isolated area t-storms. Thursday’s high: 61. Friday will be mostly cloudy and chilly with a high of 59. Expect a few light rain showers. Friday’s high: 59. Saturday will turn sunny again as we warm up to 64. Sunday will be sunny and windy with a high of 70.
