I have two bits of good news as we head into our Memorial Day Weekend. First, we shall be cooler that the last two days. We hit 101 both today and yesterday. Second, the winds will be a little stronger but not strong enough for dust! Here’s your exclusive 9-Hour Forecast for Saturday:
TONIGHT: The skies will be partly cloudy early in the evening, but the skies will turn clear overnight. The SW winds will range from 5-15 mph but will turn nearly calm in the early morning hours. The low will be a warm 70.
FORECAST: Saturday will be mostly sunny with a few clouds and moderate winds in the afternoon. The SW winds will pick up and gust near 30 mph (no dust), and the high will be 98. Sunday will be sunny with moderate winds. The west winds will gust near 35 mph, just below the level needed for blowing dust. Sunday’s high: 92. Memorial Day Monday will be mostly sunny with just a few clouds and a breezy afternoon. Monday’s high: 94. Tuesday will be partly cloudy and 95 with a slight chance of storms east of El Paso County. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of isolated area t-storms. Wednesday’s high: 98. Thursday will be sunny and hot with a high of 100. Friday will be sunny and very hot with a high of 103. Saturday will be partly cloudy and 100 with a slight chance of isolated late day t-storms.
