EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso County has $20 Uber vouchers available to help prevent drunk driving this holiday season.
There are $20 vouchers available for download online for the Dec. 24-26 time frame and another set for Dec. 27-30 will become available on Friday. There are also $20 vouchers that will be available for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
The vouchers are sponsored by the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office and are made possible by a grant from the Texas Department of Transporation.
The vouchers are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis for the designated time frame, holiday and/or promotional event. Tips are not covered by the vouchers. Each smartphone is limited to one ride for each designated time frame.
