EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are asking for your help in finding a burglar who forced his way into a Chinese restaurant early Tuesday morning, Oct. 8 in El Paso’s Lower Valley and stole a cash register.

This is this week’s featured “Crime of the Week.”
At 2:51 a.m. Oct. 8, a male suspect used a rock to break the front glass door to the Quik Wok Express at 8820 Alameda, according to Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers said security video revealed that the suspect was covering his face with a shirt and walked inside of the restaurant towards the cash register. Minutes later, he walked out of the business with the cash register.
He fled the scene southbound on Padres, according to Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers said he is a Hispanic male, with a thin build, and is believed to be in his teens or early 20’s. He is also described to have been wearing denim jeans, a belt and black and white colored Nike shoes.
