EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Police Department and Crime Stoppers of El Paso are asking for your help in identifying the individuals involved in a shooting that left one person hurt earlier this month in far East El Paso.
This is this week’s Crime of the Week, as publicized by Crime Stoppers.
According to Crime Stoppers, shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, along the 14500 block of Petralia Avenue, an argument at a house party escalated into a fight.
The fight eventually ended in gunfire outside in the area of Petralia Avenue and Tierra Murcia Street, Crime Stoppers said.
A 20-year-old Hispanic man was wounded and taken to the hospital for treatment, Crime Stoppers said.
Crime Stoppers did not say how severe his injuries were.
Investigators know that there was a large number of people at the party who may have information that could identify those involved, Crime Stoppers said.
