KTSM News – Crime of Week: Police seek help in violent robbery in South-Central El Paso

Posted on November 2, 2025

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Police are asking for your help in finding a violent robber who beat and robbed a man at gunpoint last month in South-Central El Paso.

This is this week’s Crime of the Week, as publicized by Crime Stoppers of El Paso.

Police released video of the incident and confirmed last week that they were investigating the incident.

Nighttime robbery in Central El Paso caught on camera

At about 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 2, a man was outside of a residence on the 3100 block of Pera with his family. Suddenly, a man armed with a gun walked through the driveway, pointing a handgun at the victim. The suspect demanded that the victim give him everything and struck the man on the head with the gun.

The man fled with two necklaces that the victim was wearing, Crime Stoppers said. The suspect was last seen running south on Estrella.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, in his 20s or 30s, 5 feet, 9 inches in height, with a medium build and light complexion, Crime Stoppers said.

He wore a black hooded jacket, a black ski mask, and dark-colored cargo pants, Crime Stoppers added.

Anyone with any information on the identity of this violent robber should call Crime Stoppers of El Paso immediately at (915) 566-8477 (TIPS) or online at www.cselpaso.org. You will remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you may qualify for a cash reward.
